About MARHedge Institutional Investor
MARHedge has a history as dynamic as the hedge fund industry itself. In 1979 Managed Account Reports (MAR) was launched to serve the managed futures industry and eventually found itself providing critical intelligence to a small yet growing group of entrepreneurs: hedge funds. MAR was the first publishing company to recognize the importance of alternative investments and, in 1994, launched MARHedge as the first monthly publication dedicated to serving the hedge fund community. In 1994, MARHedge launched the first Annual International Conference on Hedge Fund Investments in Bermuda. The Bermuda conference became the world's largest and most important conference focusing exclusively on the hedge fund market. In the years that followed, MARHedge launched conferences in Geneva, San Francisco, London and Singapore. In 2006, MARHedge was acquired by Euromoney Institutional Investor. MARHedge Institutional Investor continues to host the world's most respected hedge fund and investor events.
